1. The pupil must hold a valid license to drive the tuition vehicle.  Pupils must inform their instructor if they have or receive any endorsements on their license during the period they are receiving tuition.

2. In the event of mechanical breakdown or other difficulty outside of the control of the instructor, the instructor reserves the right to rearrange the lesson at short notice. Nor the Instructor or Revolution Driver Training LTD will be liable for any losses this incurs.

3. Cancellation policy; Lessons can only be cancelled with more than 24hours notice without incurring a fee. Any cancellations within 24hrs of the lesson time may be charged at full cost, payable before the next lesson.  All cancellations must be via a phone call NOT via text. If the instructor doesn’t answer leave a message and they will get back to you.

4. Lesson fees are due 24hrs before the lesson, or on the day with prior agreement of the instructor.

5. Mobile phones must be switched off, prior to the start of the lesson.

6. There will be no smoking at any time during any lesson.

7. HEALTH & SAFETY; Please ensure you wear suitable clothing and practical shoes.  Ensure you bring any appropriate glasses / lenses for reasons of road safety.

8. Bad weather – Lessons will be taken as booked unless advised by the instructor. In the case of very bad weather, your instructor may contact you to rearrange the lesson. If you have concerns speak with your instructor.

9. Driving tests may only be arranged with the prior agreement of both the instructor and the pupil.  Failure to do this may result in the unavailability of the car for the test.

10. The price paid for the driving test fee doesn’t include the use of the car for the purpose of the test and any prior instruction.

11. LEGAL LIABILITY; The pupil should be aware that the instructor’s primary objective is to promote road safety and in doing so, they may take control of the vehicle.  The instructor will make every effort to instruct the pupil to the highest standard but can in no way be held liable for any errors that the pupil may make whilst driving and not accompanied by the instructor either before or after a test pass.

12. The instructor will not accept liability for accidents, injury or damage to any third party caused by the pupil’s recklessness or negligence during a lesson.

13. Financial – When purchasing a bulk deal your Revolution Instructor holds your money and is responsible for any refunds which maybe due. Revolution Driver Training LTD does not hold your money nor can be held accountable for any monies owed to you. Please always obtain a receipt from your Instructor.

14.  Refunds – All monies paid in advance for tuition will be refunded to a customer within 7 working days of the request for a refund being received in writing. Please ensure the written request is passed to your instructor so they can process your refund. Where a discount has been applied to a bulk purchase, any lessons taken will be charged at the standard rate at the time of the request being submitted and any balance refunded.

15. Gift vouchers and Bulk lessons purchases –  All gift vouchers and Bulk lessons must be redeemed within 6 months of purchase, unless otherwise stated.

Revolution Driving Lessons – Driving Lessons Competition Terms and Conditions

Important notice: These terms and conditions set out the rules for the Revolution Driving Lessons Competition (the Competition). By entering the Competition, you agree to these rules. We recommend that you retain a copy of these terms for future reference. These terms are prepared for general information purposes and do not constitute legal advice. You should seek independent legal advice if you have any concerns.

1. Promoter

The promoter is Revolution Driving Lessons, a trading name of Revolution Driver Training LTD, (referred to in these terms as we, us or our). Our website is www.revolutiondrivinglessons.co.uk.

2. Eligibility

  1. Age and licence – Entrants must be 16 years or over at the date of entry. To claim and take driving lessons you must hold a valid UK provisional driving licence. Entrants aged 16 may enter before they obtain their provisional licence; if they win, the prize can be taken when they are eligible to drive. 
  2. Location – Lessons must start and end within the postcodes NG17, NG18, NG19, NG20 or NG21. We reserve the right to verify the winner’s address and to refuse entry outside these areas. 
  3. One entry per person – Each person may submit one entry to the Competition using a valid name, email address and telephone number. Duplicate entries or automated entries will be void. 
  4. Exclusions – Employees of Revolution Driving Lessons, their immediate families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the Competition are ineligible to enter. 
  5. Entry agreement – By entering, you confirm you meet all eligibility requirements and you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. 

3. How to enter

  1. Free entry – No purchase is necessary to enter. To enter, complete the online entry form on our website. The Competition opens on 4th August 2025. 
  2. Continuous competition – There is no closing date for entries; the Competition runs indefinitely. Once you have entered, your entry will be included in future draws unless you ask us to remove you from the pool. 
  3. Draw schedule – We will conduct a draw every time 500 unique entries have been received. For each draw, all valid entries received to date (excluding previous winners) will be included. 
  4. Validity of entries – We are not responsible for incomplete, lost or delayed entries. We may refuse any entry that is incomplete or that we reasonably believe is fraudulent. 

4. Prize

  1. Prize details – Each draw winner will receive £500 worth of driving lessons with Revolution Driving Lessons. There is one winner per draw. Lessons must be scheduled in 2‑hour blocks (or as otherwise agreed with us) and used during our operating hours of 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. 
  2. Cash alternative – If the winner already holds a full UK driving licence, the prize may be taken as a cash alternative of £100. Otherwise the prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged or sold. Once lessons are booked, there is no cash alternative. 
  3. Validity period – The prize must be claimed within 7 days of our notification (see section 6) and the driving lessons must be taken within 3 months of the claim, or within 3 months of the winner’s 17th birthday, whichever is later. Unused lessons after this time will be forfeited. 
  4. Lesson conditions 
    • Lessons must start and end at the same location within the eligible postcodes. 
    • If the winner cancels a booked lesson with less than 24 hours’ notice, that lesson will be deemed to have been delivered. 
    • The prize cannot be used for the UK driving test; the use of our vehicle for tests is not included. 

5. Winner selection

  1. Random draw – Each winner will be selected by a random process from all eligible entries at the time of the draw. The draw will be witnessed by an independent person to ensure fairness. 
  2. Repeated draws – Once you win, your entry will be removed from future draws. If a prize is not claimed or a winner is found to be ineligible, we may draw an alternative winner from the remaining valid entries. 
  3. No correspondence – Our decision regarding the selection of winners is final. We will not enter into any correspondence regarding the outcome. 

6. Winner notification and claiming the prize

  1. Notification – Winners will be notified by text message using the telephone number provided on entry. We will make at least two attempts to contact the winner within a reasonable period. 
  2. Claim period – Winners must respond and claim their prize within 7 days of the first notification. If a winner does not respond within 7 days, we reserve the right to award the prize to an alternative eligible entrant. 
  3. Verification – We may require the winner to provide proof of age, identity and possession of a valid provisional or full driving licence. Failure to meet eligibility requirements may result in forfeiture of the prize. 
  4. Publicity – We may publish the winner’s first name and general location (for example, “Jane S. from NG18”) on our website and social media. By entering, winners consent to such publicity. No other personal details will be shared without the winner’s consent. 

7. Data protection and marketing

  1. Use of personal data – We collect and process personal data in order to administer the Competition, contact winners and arrange lessons. Our lawful basis for processing is the entrant’s consent and our legitimate interest in running the Competition. 
  2. Marketing – When you enter the Competition, you agree that we may contact you by email, text or telephone with offers relating to driving lessons or special promotions from carefully selected partners. We will not share your personal data with these partners. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe link provided. 
  3. Privacy policy – For more information about how we use personal data and your rights under data protection law, please see our Privacy Policy on our website. 

8. General

  1. Changes and cancellation – We reserve the right to amend these terms, suspend or cancel the Competition at any time for reasons outside our reasonable control, provided that we will always endeavour to act fairly and to inform entrants of any changes. If the Competition cannot be carried out as planned due to circumstances beyond our control, we may cancel, modify or suspend the Competition and will not be liable for any loss. 
  2. Liability – Except for liability that cannot be excluded by law, we will not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury arising from the Competition or the acceptance and use of the prize. Nothing in these terms restricts your statutory rights. 
  3. Severance – If any provision of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will continue in force. 
  4. Governing law – The Competition and these terms and conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with the Competition will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
